Holiday region Mayrhofen

The holiday region of Mayrhofen / Hippach is one of four tourism regions in the Zillertal Valley and can probably be seen as a vibrant center of the valley.

Enjoy your winter holiday in Austria with skiing or snowboarding in one of the largest skiing areas or enjoy winter hiking on the cleared trails and cross-country skiing in glorious sunshine in the beautiful surroundings of the Zillertal.

That's not all ... In Mayrhofen you an also experience fun sports such as snow tubing, snowshoeing and Skidoo rides in the crystal clear mountain air.

Unique views from the terraces of the mountain huts and restaurants in the ski resorts are not the only way for the wide views across the Zillertal Alps. When Paragliding directly form the mountain you will see the region around Mayrhofen from a whole new perspective.

In the center is a pedestrian zone with shops, bars, restaurants, apres ski bars, and much more.

In the summer months Mayrhofen grants previously unknown insights. In the Adlerbühne at the Ahorn mountain you will discover spectacular bird demonstrations. There are also rope routes for mountaineers and trails to explore for mountain bikers.
